Highland Community Groups

Our groups and events bring Carers together from across Highland in a warm, welcoming space to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

Community Drop-in Sessions

Our community drop-ins offer a chance to pop in for a relaxed chat with a friendly member of our team in your local area. These informal sessions provide an opportunity for one-to-one support, to ask questions, or simply enjoy a friendly conversation in a welcoming space.

We offer:

  • Guidance and information
  • Emotional and peer support
  • Events and training opportunities
  • Connection and community
  • Advocacy and practical support
  • Health and wellbeing support
  • Access to funding opportunities

Please see our Events and Training for upcoming dates.

Care4Carers

This group is for Carers supporting someone with a mental health diagnosis. It is a safe space to discuss with others how you are coping with your own mental health and that of those you care for. The group meets on the first Thursday of the month at 2pm.

TT Room, Inshes Church, Inverness, IV2 3TW

Adult Carer Social Groups

Attending social gatherings can be very beneficial to your mental health and wellbeing. They can give you a sense of belonging, a space to create new friendships and meet others in similar circumstances.

There is no need to sign up/book our social groups, just come along, say hello and meet other Carers in your community.

We currently host monthly social groups in the following areas:

  • Caithness
  • Sutherland
  • Ross-shire
  • Inverness
  • Nairn
  • Badenoch & Strathspey
  • Lochaber

Please see our Events and Training for upcoming dates.
