Getting Comfortable with Zoom with Linda Birnie

Relaxed and supportive session on Zoom to get more comfortable and practiced using the different features, so you can focus on a meeting.
Managing in an Emergency – a review of basic first aid with Linda Birnie
27th April 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Join this session on basic first aid theory that reviews how to keep ourselves and others safe in an emergency situation. Come along for either an introduction or a refresher, and meet other Carers in Highland. Situations that might affect adults and children are included.
Time to Laugh with Linda Birnie
4th May 7pm to 8pm
Laughter boosts feelings of wellness. Join this laughter workshop for some laughter based activity, gentle activity and relaxation. Carers who have attended previous laughter sessions are welcome to reattend for more laughter.

Follow along while we create a hand-made journal or sketchbook using Coptic Binding using your own artwork or covers, or the prints made during the Mono-printing Class on 19 April if you attended that.

Lisa Law, Legal Director, Brodies LLP Lisa Law is a Solicitor specialising for adults with incapacity, and accredited specialist in incapacity and mental disability law. This session aims to raise awareness about the role of guardianship, trusts, power of attorney, and wills so that unpaid Carers are better equipped to ask informed questions about their own situation in these areas.
