The first three sessions are for one hour and the final two sessions are 30 minutes each. Each session in the series is different to give you a great experience of mindfulness and relaxation.

Starting January 17th 2022 for 5 weeks - 3 x Mondays 7.30-8.30pm and 2 x Mondays 7.30-8pm:

Monday 17th January 2022 – 7.30-8.30pm: - Mindful Breath work/Movement/Relax:

Mindful breath work and a little bit of mindful movement – noticing your breathing and awareness of your body. Noticing the flow of your breath and how it can help relax the body and mind, slowing everything down. Movement comprises of gentle stretches working with your own ability/any injuries, learning to release any tension held in the body followed by relaxation. Softening and relaxing with every out breath.

Monday 24th January 2022 – 7.30-8.30pm: - Mindful breath work and chair yoga:

Working with the breath – as above – and a gentle introduction to chair yoga. Chair yoga is for beginners or for returners to yoga who now feel it is difficult getting down and up from the floor. Supported by your chair, building strength, a little bit of flexibility, helping with your balance, everything we need. Moving and lengthening the body in every direction – feel taller – feel lengthened – feel the breath deepening and lengthening, aiding relaxation. Short relaxation at the end of class.

Monday 31st January 2022 – 7.30-8.30pm: - Mindful breath work and relaxation:

This class focus is the breath, spending time focusing in on the texture and flow of the breath. (as above). Noticing the calming effect the breath has on body and mind. Followed by a long deep relaxation – 1 hour of total you time – what’s not to like?

Monday 7th February 2022 7.30-8pm:

Yoga Nidra – half an hour of pure bliss and relaxation – research shows that half an hour of yoga nidra is equivalent to 2 hours sleep – so if you are sleep deprived or feel in need of a good rest this is the session for you. This is one of my favourite ways to relax, dipping in energy levels, I lie down and experience yoga nidra, at the end of the session I feel refreshed and ready to tackle whatever lies ahead.

Monday 14th February 2022 7.30-8pm:

More Yoga Nidra – as above
