The Carers (Scotland) Act 2017 introduces new rights for unpaid carers and new duties for local councils and the NHS to provide support to carers. In early 2018 Connecting Carers are running a series of training workshops and consultation events for carers and those working with carers in Highland. More information will be available in January 2018.

If you are a carer and would like advice on carers rights, care planning, health and well-being or information on a wide variety of caring related topics, our team will be on hand to help and advise. No appointment necessary - just come along.
