Information for Potential Trustees
Thank you for considering becoming a trustee of Connecting Carers.

Connecting Carers aim is to connect unpaid carers to the support they need for a better life.  There are approximately 31,000 unpaid carers in Highland, many of whom have no idea of the support and information available to them.

Carers can be as young as five years old and it is estimated that there are 2,000 young carers in Highland caring for a parent or sibling.
We are currently seeking  trustees to join our board in a non-executive capacity and very much hope you will want to join us in working towards a better life for unpaid carers in Highland.

"Caring can happen at any time"

To complement the skills we already have on the board we are currently seeking people with experience, skills and expertise in financial management, business development, social care, housing and fundraising at a senior level.

In addition, individuals will need personal commitment and empathy with our vision and values, a willingness to work with other trustees and senior team, to act as ambassadors and build partnerships and networks to further our collaboration with a wide range of partners, and  raise funds to deliver our programme of work.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange an informal conversation please contact:
